Our capital is purpose, talent & energy.
Not money.
In a sweat equity organisation, we as partners invest expertise and work rather than money.
We are paid a share of the income, in proportion to the value of our contributions.
We have a system for that, coined the "Epic Model", privy to insiders.
Contributors work for a share of the future income, not for a salary.
Meanwhile, each needs to pay their bills, so doing this in parallel to other work engagements is welcome, on a part time or “hobby” basis.
We keep track of our contributions in the Epic Model. We (will) share the margin pro rata the value of contributions.
Our first and pilot project is Inkio.
We want Inkio to exist, so we make it.
Because this project is social innovation. The ethical and collaborative dimensions require commitment we can better provide as partners.
Also... We don't want to spend our energy on raising money and reporting, we want to spend it on making social innovation happen.
If the project works, yes.
Otherwise, no...
It is on us as partners to make it work.
